Please find below our Terms & Conditions of Hire. Adherence to these T's & C's will make hiring from Noble Decor Hire an enjoyable experience for both of us, and as seamless as possible. Thank you.
2.1 These terms are binding.
2.2 By accepting the booking and confirming the hire you are agreeing to the terms laid out irrespective of whether this document is signed or not (delivery of goods signifies agreement to terms outlined within this document).
2.3 Quoted prices are valid for 1 month (including any agreed discounts). After this period if you, the Customer, have not paid your deposit, your order may be subject to price increases.
2.4 Bookings without a confirmation will not be reserved.
2.5 The payment from the Customer to the Supplier is in no way affected by the Customer and its payment terms from its end client.
2.6 All monies need to be as cleared funds in advance of delivery by the Supplier or collection by the Customer from the Suppliers premises.
2.7 It is the responsibility of the Customer to ensure all Hire Goods listed on the invoice are correct. Please check your invoice and notify Noble Decor Hire if any amendments are required.
2.8 The Customer's statutory rights are not limited either by the Contract or the Terms and Conditions.
2.9 Noble Decor Hire reserves the right to publish the names of their Customers at an event or in suitable promotional material (including their website) subject to the prior written consent of the Customer.
2.10 Noble Decor Hire reserves the right to use photographic images of events staged at the premises in suitable promotional material (including their website) subject to the prior written consent of the Customer.
2.11 At no point within the hire period can the Customer lay any claim to ownership of any of the Suppliers items.
2.12 All items are hired in and as such, cannot be used for any form of payment to bailiffs / venues / or anyone to whom the Customer owes outstanding monies to. Any hire items removed or used in this manner will be charged at full rate to the Customer's business account.
3.1 Standard hire rates are for a 3 day period from delivery to the Customer (or collection by the Customer/ Courier) commencing when the hire goods are signed for.
3.2 Noble Decor Hire can easily accommodate longer hire periods and this needs to be discussed and quoted for on an individual basis. Hire periods cannot be extended without prior arrangement with Noble Decor Hire Ltd, and confirmed in writing.
4.1 Once a quote has been agreed, the Customer will be sent a Confirmation of Services to sign and this will form the basis of the agreement.
4.2 No items are held without the Customer's signature on the Confirmation of contracted services.
4.3 You can cancel this agreement by email, during a 14-business day cooling-off period, (which starts on the date of the signed Confirmation).
4.4 Following completion of the Signed Confirmation of Services document, a deposit of 50% of the total hire cost (including transport/restocking fees/ installation if booked) will be payable within 14 days, to confirm the order. Upon receipt of this, we will reserve your hire goods for you. This is a non-refundable payment. If no deposit payment is received within 14 days then the hire goods will no longer be reserved for this contract.
4.5 The remaining balance is payable 10 days before the event. Failure to place cleared funds within the Suppliers account prior to the event will render the contract void.
4.6 The Supplier will accept payment of the Hire Price by BACS or CHAPS transfer. Please allow at least 4 working days for BACS or via a credit card.
4.7 Confirmed orders can be amended up to 1 month before your event date if a deposit to secure the hire goods has been received. Noble Decor Hire will always try to accommodate last minute changes to the order where possible.
4.8 The Supplier may ask for a refundable security deposit to cover loss or damage to hire goods at the Suppliers' discretion.
4.9 Seasonal minimum spend policies apply in both the peak season (May-September) and the low season (October-April). Minimum spend excludes additional charges. Orders below the minimum spend will not be eligible for delivery and collection by the Noble Decor Hire team but can still be booked subject to the Customer arranging their own transport or their own courier to collect.
5.1 Invoices are due for payment within 7 days of issue. Late payment or non-payment may result in the order being cancelled and any part payment or deposit being forfeited by the Customer to cover costs and lost sales.
5.2 The Customer will also be liable for all reasonable costs and expenses incurred in collection of the debt including but not exhaustively court fees, solicitor fees and time spent.
5.3 In some cases, the debt may be passed to a Third Party Debt Collection to whom all costs will be deferred.
6.1 All cancellation notices must be received in writing.
6.2 As deposits are non-refundable, each individual case will be taken on its own merit, however the company is not required to refund any payments.
6.3 Cancellation charges that will apply are as follows:
6.4 Less than 10 days before the commencement of the Hire Period - 100% of the hire price is required.
6.5 If the Supplier is unable to fulfil the supply of hired goods or services, due to Force Majeure (reasons such as, but not limited to, fire, flood, terrorist activities, pandemic), the Customer assumes all responsibility for the incurred losses and needs to have the relevant insurance policies in place to cover such events. No refunds will be offered in line with these terms.
7.1 The Customer agrees that during the hire period the Hire Goods shall be kept in good repair and condition.
7.2 The Customer assumes all responsibilities and liabilities for the goods from the moment the Customer signs for them. Liability remains with the Customer until the goods are returned to Noble Decor Hire premises or collected by Noble Decor Hire Ltd. If goods are collected after the tenancy of a building or temporary structure has expired, for any reason, the Customer is still liable for all goods and their condition until they are collected.
7.3 Any packaging provided with Hire Goods must be stored by the Customer during the event and returned with the Hire Goods. Any damaged or lost packaging (e.g. cardboard boxes, plastic storage boxes, wooden containers, canvas bags, bespoke cases – excluding bubble wrap) will be charged between £50 and £200 per storage item.
7.4 All Hire Goods must be returned in good condition. Linens are exempt from pre-cleaning and do not need to be washed or stain-free before return, as Noble Decor Hire prefers to clean these in-house. Customers will be notified of any staining or damage to linens within 7 days post-event, along with any applicable replacement or repair fees.
7.5 All crockery and glassware must be scraped and cleared of excess food, garnishes or drink before being packed into crates for return.
7.6 Dirty glassware must be placed upright in the crates provided. Improper packing or unclean returns may incur additional charges.
7.7 Should the Customer not check the condition and quantity of the goods at the end of the Hire Period, the Supplier’s notes and log of damages/losses shall be binding.
7.8 The Customer is only renting the goods and cannot sub-hire them.
7.9 The Supplier recommends that the Customer takes out insurance cover for the Goods during the Hire Period, from the time of delivery/client pick-up to collection/client return. This should adequately cover the insurable value of the hire items, including public liability risks, theft, damage, and force majeure.
8.1 Any loss, breakages or damage to Hire Goods will, where possible, be repaired by Noble Decor Hire Ltd or a professional repair service and charged as a restoration cost (including any depreciation in value).
8.2 The Customer is liable for the full replacement cost of goods that are lost, stolen, or returned unclean, defective or damaged beyond repair. Invoices will be issued for repair, replacement or excessive cleaning.
8.3 If damage, loss or cleaning fees are not paid within 14 days post-event, Noble Decor Hire reserves the right to charge the card on file for the outstanding amount.
8.4 Payment for damaged goods must be made within 14 days, regardless of any insurance claims made by the Customer. Replacement value pricing and dispatch notes will apply. Interest of 8% above base rate will be charged weekly on overdue payments. The Customer may not replace the goods themselves.
8.5 For lost, stolen or damaged Goods, the Customer will also be liable for any lost rental income, provided the Supplier can show confirmation of a subsequent booking.
9.1 The Customer must undertake all safety measures and comply with safety and fire regulations. All items must be kept away from heat sources, as flammable materials may have been used in manufacture.
9.2 Unless specifically listed as suitable for outdoor use or agreed in advance, all Hire Goods are for indoor use only. Outdoor use is entirely at the Customer's risk. If extreme weather is forecast, it is the Customer's responsibility to keep all goods safe and dry.
9.3 The Supplier may charge for damage caused by damp, wet or outdoor use.
9.4 All Hire Goods are pre-used and may show signs of wear and tear. Colour and condition may differ from online images. It is the Customer's responsibility to communicate any specific requirements.

9.11 Light fittings come with bulbs but no spares. If spares are required, these will be charged separately.
9.12 It is strictly forbidden to cut plugs off lighting equipment or alter connections. A £125 charge applies for each altered item.

9.19 The Customer is responsible for safe handling of all Hire Goods. Two people are required to carry heavier items (e.g. sofas, tables). Ask for guidance if unsure.
10.1 Unless a site visit has been completed by the Supplier, the Supplier cannot be responsible for any items not fitting through doorways, entranceways, loading bays or any other access points required to enter the venue.
10.2 The Customer may request measurements of specific furniture items in advance if there are concerns about access.
10.3 No refunds will be issued due to the inability to gain venue access caused by inadequate entry points.
11.1 The Supplier will deliver and collect the Goods, where possible, in accordance with the Customer's schedule and within working hours (9:00am to 5:30pm) unless otherwise agreed. 11.2 Delivery fees are based on access to a ground-floor location or one adjacent to the loading bay. Deliveries or collections outside of regular hours (6:00pm – 8:00am) can be arranged for an additional fee.
11.3 The Customer must arrange suitable access at the scheduled delivery/installation time. 11.4 The Customer must arrange crew to assist with installation unless this service has been specifically requested (and charged for) in advance. Crew labour is charged at £25 per hour per person.
11.5 If no additional assistance has been pre-arranged, delivery may be refused for safety reasons. Charges still apply. Please refer to the Hire Access document for further information.
11.6 Installation to a specific area is not included unless specifically agreed and charged for in advance. Goods will otherwise be delivered to a designated safe location onsite.
11.7 We recommend delivering to your venue the day before your event to ensure timely arrival. Delivery on the event day is at the Customer’s own risk. The Supplier is not liable for delays beyond its control.
11.8 A representative of the Customer must be present at delivery and collection to confirm the condition of the goods and sign off. If not present, the Supplier’s notes will be considered final.
11.9 The Customer is responsible for any parking tickets or parking fees incurred due to inadequate access. Additional charges such as congestion or environmental fees are also the Customer’s responsibility.
11.10 If drivers are kept waiting for more than 30 minutes during delivery, the Customer will be charged £25 per person per hour.
11.11 At collection, goods must be gathered in one safe location and boxed/stacked ready. Failure to do so will result in wait time charges as above.
11.12 Adequate access must again be provided at the time of collection.
11.13 If additional crew is required for collection and has not been arranged in advance, collection may be refused and a re-collection fee will apply. Labour is charged at £25 per hour per person. See the Hire Access document for more.
11.14 For customer collections from our warehouse (by courier or self), the driver must quote the Customer's name. Our team will assist with loading and issue a delivery note requiring a signature. Responsibility for the goods transfers to the Customer upon collection.
11.15 The Customer must ensure the collection vehicle is suitable. Noble Decor Hire Ltd reserves the right to refuse loading if safety or suitability is in question.
11.16 All collections and deliveries at the Supplier’s premises must occur Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. Final arrivals must be no later than 4:30pm.
